Kingdom Apostolic Prayer Congress (KAPC)

The Kingdom Apostolic Prayer Congress (KAPC) is a statewide apostolic and prophetic prayer movement uniting believers across Tennessee to legislate from their seated position in Christ and align the state with the purposes of God. The KAPC is not another prayer network.  It is a legislative gathering of the Ekklesia.

We do not replace prayer networks. We exist to undergird, strengthen, and align what God is already doing through established prayer movements. Intercession and legislation are complementary and necessary.

Vision Statement

To see Tennessee aligned with the Kingdom of God through a statewide congress of apostolic and prophetic voices who legislate for the kingdom, shaping the spiritual and cultural atmosphere of our state for generational impact.

While Tennessee remains a primary assignment, KAPC is intentionally positioned to pray into:

• Neighboring states

• National elections

• Cultural and ideological issues affecting the nation

We do not war against people.  We address agendas, systems, and ideologies that oppose the authority of Christ.  America was founded with an acknowledgment of God, and we stand in agreement that there is no other King to serve but King Jesus.

Mission Statement

The Kingdom Apostolic Prayer Congress exists to:

• Legislate in Prayer – Declare, decree, and establish heaven’s will on earth in every sphere of influence (government, family, education, business, media, arts, and the Church).

• Unite Regions – Build a statewide congress of apostolic and prophetic leaders, intercessors, and believers from East, Middle, and West Tennessee and neighboring states to function as one voice for the King.

• Equip & Commission – Train and release the Ekklesia to operate from their legislative authority in Christ (Ephesians 2:6), moving from petitioning to governing.

• Establish Prayer Altars – Strengthen county-by-county and city-by-city prayer hubs that uphold righteousness, justice, and revival across Tennessee and neighboring regions.

• Discern & Respond – Prophetically watch, hear, and respond to the spiritual climate of our state, providing decrees and strategies to align Tennessee with God’s covenant purposes.

• Advance Kingdom Culture – Partner with heaven to see transformation in laws, leadership, and lifestyles so Tennessee reflects the culture of heaven more than the culture of the world.

Core Mandates

• Establish Kingdom governance in Tennessee through apostolic and prophetic decrees aligned with Heaven’s blueprint.

• Serve as a governmental voice addressing statewide issues including government, education, family, justice, revival, and cultural transformation.

• Mobilize and align the Ekklesia to legislate from their seated position in Christ with spiritual authority and discernment.

• Build and sustain a unified statewide prayer congress carrying one voice for righteousness, awakening, and covenant alignment.

• Steward prophetic intelligence, decrees, and strategic assignments as the ongoing “Congressional Record” for Tennessee.

• Discern spiritual movements, strongholds, and divine timings impacting Tennessee and respond with Heaven-led strategy.

Leadership Structure

Apostolic Oversight - Dr. Greg Hood & Dr. Joan Hood

• Apostolic Team – Senior leaders carrying oversight and direction.

• Prophetic Voices – Release the word of the Lord and discern divine strategies.

• Intercessory Teams – Sons & Daughters assigned to key spheres of influence.

• Regional & County Delegates – Representatives from East, Middle, and West Tennessee to ensure statewide coverage.

Core Distinction of KAPC

Unlike traditional prayer networks that focus primarily on intercession, the Congress model functions as a legislative assembly of the Ekklesia. KAPC gathers apostolic and prophetic leaders statewide to release governmental decrees, prophetic acts, and covenant alignment, shaping the destiny of Tennessee in agreement with heaven’s blueprint.
